Associate professionals in the community have been reporting that their employers have been attempting to define what they can or cannot count towards their licensing hours. The biggest issue being that associates are being told by their employer that the hours that they can count towards their indirect hours.
We want to make it clear to new professionals that employers are not in a position to make these distinctions, they do not have the authority to decide what new professionals can and cannot count towards their hours. Our objective is to provide a point of reference for any new professionals that is need of clarification to provide to their employer.
We are seeking to find the current written stipulations and propose replacements that are more specific and then provide an easy reference for those new professionals.
