Justice, Equity, Diveristy, & Inclusion Committee Meeting Minutes

Members Present: Tage G., Mai B., Jim M., Juancarlos S., Bobbi D., Jennifer B., Jasmine M., Francesca S., Adriana Z.,
DISCUSSION: 
-Bobbi will send out surveys a week before JED&I meetings to collect ideas and project proposals, she will also send meeting agendas day before the meeting. 

-Creating space for processing or consultation. Restructuring our meetings to balance business and have space to process real life events or happenings to identify community needs and give the committee direction for future projects. 

-Juancarlos will follow up on Brown Bag presenter.

-We would like to create a resource page or bulletin, need to run by the board (issues of UMHCA endorsing specific brands or services is an issue). Add disclaimers?

-Juancarlos will be piloting and collaborating with GSEP a JED&I mentorship program. 

Utah Mental Health Counselors Association is Utah's hub for enhancing the profession of mental health counselors.
UMHCA is a 501(c)6 organization.
