Diversity & Inclusion

The Deaf, Deafblind and Hard of Hearing are welcome to join us at the Sanderson Community Center for a workshop on February 13, 2020 from 6:30-8:00 PM.

Registration: jobs.utah.gov/usor/dhh/events/northern.html

Diversity. Inclusion. They are more than just words. They are the hard-and-fast principles guiding how to build teams, cultivate leaders and creates space that's a right fit for every person to feel empowered to bring their full, authentic selves to a space.

Join us as we discuss ways to implement strategies that create a culture of belonging:

  • Combat fears and messages about one another and help others to do the same.
  • Communicate in a diverse environment, in an inclusive way.
  • Discuss ways to become more inclusive through diverse perspectives and involvement in community events.
  • Identify appropriate methods of standing up for one another.
  • Learn tips to become leaders for diversity and inclusion.
