Mental Health America

We’ve all been hearing it in the news or seeing it firsthand for two years – the pandemic has had a profound negative impact on the mental health of the nation. But how is your local community doing?

Previously, that question was difficult to answer with any hard data. Most federal sources release mental health data on a two-year delay and the data is difficult to apply to a local level.

But Mental Health America is changing that.

Our researchers have spent a year analyzing over 2.6 million mental health screens from 2020 and 2021. These screens were taken by individuals who came to MHA’s website thinking they may be experiencing depression, suicidal ideation, psychosis, or trauma during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now we’re ready to publish this powerful data and show you how your community has been feeling. We’ll break it all down by state and county in a one-of-a-kind dashboard unique to MHA.

We want you to be the first to learn about this transformative new resource, our findings, and what it all means for local leaders and the future of mental health. Register to attend our webinar on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 1:00 pm EST to learn more about this project.

Do you know a local administrator, health official, clinician, or nonprofit organization that might be interested in this presentation too? Please feel free to forward this invitation along. Additionally, we've included a Social Media Toolkitfor you to help spread the word on social media!

Together, we can use data to assess where there is the greatest need for more mental health resources and redefine mental health across communities.

P.S. - Can't make the live session? The dashboard demonstration will be available on our website after the presentation.
