Title: Legislative & Legal Update

Presenter: Clifford Rosky, Professor of Law at the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law, where he teaches courses on constitutional law, criminal law, sexuality and law, and mindfulness and law.

Description: Cliff Rosky will provide us with details on the latest laws and bills that could affect the LGBTQ+ community; from the recent Utah legislative session to Federal actions.

Learning Objectives: 

  • I have updated knowledge of the local struggle, for and against, reparative therapy legislation
  • I am aware of the status of how the LGBTQ+ community is being affected by Utah legislation
  • I am aware of the status of how the LGBTQ+ community is being affected by Federal legislation
  • I am aware of the nationwide trends of legislation that affects the LGBTQ+ community

CEUs have been approved from Rocky Mountain University for our in-service programs. CEUs are free for Guild members & $5 for non‐members, per meeting. If you do not want a CEU certificate, attendance is free to the public but still require that you register.
