Verl T. Pope, ED.D., LPC, CMHC, NCC,

CCMHC, ACS Professor of Counseling, Counseling Program Director, Chair of the Department of Professional Counseling, Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions

Dr. Verl T. Pope holds a doctorate in Counselor Education and Counseling from Idaho State University. He has extensive experience in counseling program development and counseling accreditation. He has consulted with the Departments of Probation and Parole, juvenile offices, schools, and the courts on assessment and counseling issues. Dr. Pope is a licensed professional counselor in Utah (CMHC) and Missouri (LPC), in addition to being nationally certified as a counselor (NCC), a mental health counselor (CCMHC), and a clinical supervisor (ACS).
