Recognizing and Avoiding Unethical Relationships

Dr. Kristin Erskine

WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES

Erskine is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, a National Certified Counselor, a Master Addictions Counselor, and a Substance Abuse Professional. Her areas of specialty in teaching are addictions, ethics, mindfulness and meditation, and spirituality in the counseling session.

Dr. Erskine currently has a limited private practice where she provides substance abuse assessments for people who have occupations with Department of Transportation oversight. She also provides Psychological First Aid for employee assistance programs in Utah.

Participants will be able to:

  • Identify the most common unethical relationship problems for mental health therapists
  • Identify what leads to unethical relationships in the mental health field
  • Learn how to create and maintain ethical relationships with clients and colleagues
