Brown Bag: Healing and Resilience for QTBIPOC communities

This workshop addresses the complexities of Healing and Resilience for QTBIPOC communities. It is designed for mental health practitioners to deepen our awareness of self, increase our knowledge and understanding of these communities, and provide tangible skills essential for working with communities of color. Through an emphasis on decolonial frameworks and resilience-building strategies, attendees will gain insights into the unique needs of QTBIPOC clients, enhancing their ability to provide culturally responsive care and foster meaningful healing experiences. Participants will learn to create more inclusive and empowering therapeutic environments and help clients foster resilience and empowerment within their communities.
