Presenter: Dr. Lahab Al-Samarrai, PhD, LCPC (IL), LMHC (WA), LPC (PA), BCPC
Lahab Al-Samarrai is a licensed clinical psychotherapist. He has been practicing for over 30 years in residential, clinical settings, schools, universities and private settings. Dr. Lahab has worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults, providing
individual therapy, couples/ family therapy and group therapy as well as lecturing and providing supervision to student professionals. Dr. Lahab studied at the Jung Institute in Chicago. He has attended and presented at the international IAAP and lAJS conferences, and lectured at the University of Zurich and at Seattle Children's Hospital on topics related to Jungian Psychology. Dr. Lahab is also a past President of the Washington Counseling Association. In 2020, Dr. Lahab developed a proprietary trauma treatment named Jungian Advanced Motor Processing® (JAMP®). He has published two books and three peer-reviewed academic papers on the JAMP® treatment. Dr. Lahab is bilingual (Arabic and English) and has been studying and exploring psychology, philosophy, political science and multicultural issues for the past 30 years.
