Dr. Jade Letourneau is an associate professor and core faculty in Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions’ Department of Professional Counseling. She received her PhD in counselor education and counseling from Idaho State University and her MS in clinical mental health counseling from University of Southern Maine. She has broad clinical experience, having worked in corrections, group practice, and university career counseling. Dr. Letourneau is a member of various state, regional, and national counseling organizations; she has held various leadership and committee positions over the years. She has been awarded several ACES research grants, and she regularly presents at professional conferences. Among her research interests are culturally responsive gatekeeping, incorporating spirituality and religion into counseling practice, and most things qualitative research related. When she is not teaching, supervising, or researching, you will find her somewhere outside—whether tending to her gardens, skiing any and all conditions, hiking with her dogs, or reading on the beach. She maintains a small practice within a holistic health center in Dover, New Hampshire.
