Join our expert presenter, Dr. Erin Emery-Tiburcio, as she discusses the tasks to lessen the pain of loss for individuals experiencing grief, evidence-supported treatments, and how to differentiate normal grief from prolonged grief disorder. She will also explore how to take an active approach to grief so you can help older adults manage their emotions after loss. 

After this webinar, participants will be able to: 

  • define terms associated with grief. 
  • recognize prolonged grief disorder criteria. 
  • describe the tasks of grieving. 

Up to 1.5 continuing education credit hours are available for the 90-minute webinar. If you attend only the 60-minute presentation, 1 CE credit hour is available.

  • noon–1 pm: Presentation from Dr. Emery-Tiburcio
  • 1– 1:30 pm: Panel discussion to frame the content for clinicians
