Dates: February 6th (Friday) and 7th (Saturday), 2026.
Location: Comfort Inn and Suites, 202 Jimmy Doolittle Road, Salt Lake City, UT 84116.
Hours: 8:30am to 4:00pm. Snacks are provided; a one-hour lunch is on your own. Please plan to arrive by 8:15am on the first day in order to check in.
Cost: $450.00 for two full days of training and access to the online training videos and the manual (which you can download). If two or more people register together, each person will pay $435.00.
Graduate students pay a discounted rate of $395.00, or $380.00 each for two or more students.
About your instructor: I’m Jennifer Dunkle, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado, and a
Certified Gottman Therapist. I have been in private practice since 2013, and between 2003 and 2019
I worked at a psychiatric hospital. One of my specialty areas is financial therapy, and I am a member of the Financial Therapy Association.
I have worked with hundreds of couples using the Gottman Method, and am excited to introduce you to this world-renowned, research-based way of doing therapy with couples. John and Julie Gottman and colleagues have done extensive research with thousands of couples over the past fifty years, and research is continuing to this day.
Attendance policy: Attendees must sign-in every morning and afternoon, and stay for the full day on both days in order to complete the training. Cancellation policy:
- Prior to 21 days before the training: full refund, minus a $50 processing fee.
- Prior to 7 days before the training: 50% refund, minus a $50 processing fee.
- Within 7 days of the training: no refund but instead a credit good for one full year.
Continuing education: Upon completing the online assessment of knowledge (scoring 80% or better), you will receive a certificate of completion via the online course platform. If you would like in-person CEUs, they will be available for an extra fee from the CBI Center for Education.
