This training focuses on trauma-informed care specific to women. It explores how trauma uniquely affects women across counseling, education, and healthcare settings, and provides practical approaches for clinicians.
Participants will be able to:
Understand the needs of women and the framework of trauma-informed care
Identify how women across counseling, education, and healthcare settings are impacted by trauma
Apply models and frameworks to address trauma in women
Increase confidence in counseling women with trauma
