The UMHCA Day on the Hill is an advocacy and professional development event designed to empower therapists to actively participate in Utah's legislative process.
Many clinicians are interested in advocacy but feel uncertain about how government works or how to effectively communicate with policymakers. This event provides members with hands-on experience at the Utah State Capitol while equipping them with practical advocacy skills that can be used throughout their careers.
Participants will receive 3 Continuing Education (CE) credits that are legislative, and ethics focused.
Meet with state legislators, network with colleagues, and observe legislative committee meetings in action!
