Shame is one of the most difficult emotions that clients experience.

It’s painful, sticky, and often tough to treat.

But many of the top experts in the field are finding that compassion-based approaches can be powerful antidotes to shame.

That’s why I wanted to let you know about Compassion-Based Approaches for Working with Shame – a free training being held by the Awake Network.

This 3-day series starts tomorrow, so I hope you might take a moment tosign up today.

The series features several of the leading experts in the field of compassion-based therapies, including Kristin Neff, PhD; Chris Germer, PhD; Gabor Maté, MD, CM; Deran Young, LCSW; Deb Dana, LCSW; Rick Hanson, PhD; Paul Gilbert, FBPSS, PhD, OBE; Kamilah Majied, PhD; and more.

They’ll dive into the latest research on how compassion can transform your work with shame and trauma. You’ll also get practical strategies to help you apply compassion-based approaches in your work.

Here are just a few of the sessions in the series:

  • Working with Shame Through IFS
  • Polyvagal Theory and the Treatment of Shame
  • Self-Compassion and Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy
  • Compassion as a Path for Healing Trauma and Shame
  • Shame in Relationships: Healing Mistakes, Regret, and Remorse

Once again, this series is entirely free to attend.
