PARENTING COORDINATION TRAINING

Participants will learn about parenting coordination concepts and ethics, family systems theory and application, family dynamics in separation and divorce, child and adolescent development, the parenting coordination process and techniques, and Florida Family Law Rules and Procedures.


The training program will include lecture, written exercises, group discussion, simulations, readings, and role plays.


Although this training was initially created for practitioners in Florida, the content will prepare those in other states across the US. Some states may not have a statute yet that governs parenting coordination, which means professionals can seek training from sources inside or outside of their state. If your state does have a statute governing parenting coordination, check with the dispute resolution center in your state to see if they have specific rules in regard to training or if you are permitted to take a training from another state. There are limited training opportunities available across the U.S. and our training is a best practice model as Florida has been one of the leaders in this field.
