Mai Blanchard is an expert in working with immigrants and second-generation immigrants. Being a second-generation immigrant herself, she has a deep understanding of the unique challenges and cultural complexities that individuals and families face in the immigrant experience. She has a strong passion for providing culturally sensitive therapy that addresses acculturation stress, family conflict, identity issues, discrimination, and trauma related to migration experiences.

Workshop objectives:

Participants will be able to:

1. Identify at least three key principles of the Radical Healing Psychological Framework and explain how they relate to working with BIPOC and immigrant populations.

2. Define Radical Hope and explain it within the context of the Radical Healing Psychological Framework.

3. Explain how to apply a culturally responsive approach within the Radical Healing Framework.
