WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES

PRESENTER: Paul Callister, PhD, MEd, СМНС

Paul is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor in private practice in Bountiful, Utah. He completed the then Licensed Professional Counseling/Masters in Counseling program at the University of Utah in 2010 and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Oregon State University in 2021. From the moment he took his first "Group Counseling" class in his masters program, group work has had a place in Paul's heart. In addition to being an individual and couple therapist, Paul currently has three groups in his private practice.

Participants will be able to:

  1. Understand two concepts applicable to facilitation of group work.
  2. Describe who is appropriate to be referred to group work.
  3. Participate in or observe a demonstration group
