Along with being a licensed clinical mental health counselor (LMHC) in Utah, Dr. Matt Buckley is a doctoral-level licensed professional counselor (LPC) and board-approved clinical supervisor in Mississippi. The diversity of his professional practice includes counseling, consultation, supervision, and teaching.

Workshop Objectives:

  • Identify the use of therapeutic imagination as a viable conceptual framework in professional practice consistent with ethical functioning
  • Integrate specific techniques related to using imagination in therapy to deepen empathy and leverage client insight
  • Discuss implications for the use of therapeutic imagination in consultation and counselor supervision
