UMHCA Board Meeting Minutes
January 13th, 2018
Attendees: Gray Otis, Paul Callister, Julie Tucker, Ellen Behrens, Trevor Earl, Jason Wagner, Terri Elise Goldstein, Jim Macedone, Scott Carter, Berta Rodriguez.
The meeting was called to order at 10:08 a.m.
Meeting started by the President, Paul Callister
Time and location changes: Time would be change to 9:00 a.m. plus, 30 minutes of flexible time to finish each session. This decision after attendees voted: 9 votes for 9

Conference discussion:
Paul talks about the needs of new proposals about topics related to children treatment as suicidal prevention, therapist relationship with teenagers. It was also discussed that time for each presentation would be 90 minutes, and clinical presentation will be for 2 hours spread in 1hour therapy and one hour case, to improve time management and interest in the topic. Jim will take the role of publishing and marketing.
Conference will be at University of Utah in March 23th and 24th
Lunch Plan: Everybody pays for our own food, but we will have a food truck at the place of the conference (Tacos)
Scott Carter: assigned to email Paul Carver to follow up with any update on custody evaulations issue
Julie Tucker summarized the minutes from the last board meeting
Paul Callister: assigned to make changes needed for 12/9/17 board meeting minutes and bring back to next board meeting for approval
Julie Tucker: assigned to find out what number of board members is needed to attend to have quorum, and so this can be added to the minutes. She said this requirement is in the rules for 501(c)(6)
Scott Carter: gave legislative update
Jim Macedone: gave website and conference registration update. He also reviewed documents he is preparing for the upcoming Annual Conference, scheduled for March 23 & 24, 2018.
Julie was voted to be chair of the PR, Membership and Marketing committee
